2017: More Than a Court–The Clark Gym
At 50 years old, the Clark Gym is showing its age. The well-worn maple floor boards have been sanded and patched to their limits, and now need replacing.
From first impressions to lasting memories, The Dan Clark Gymnasium is where the Braves spirit begins and is fostered. As the only indoor space on campus that can accommodate the entire student body, the Clark Gym has been a foundation of the Justin-Siena experience. Future Braves make basketball memories competing in the Dan Clark Tournament. Current students learn life skills of effort and team work in volleyball and basketball; cheer on each other in spirited Homecoming rallies; and collaborate in faith formation for school liturgies. Alumni, parents, and grandparents share in athletic victories and gather for fundraising events, reunions, and milestone celebrations like Freshman Orientation and Senior Awards.
At 50 years old, the Clark Gym is showing its age. The well-worn maple floor boards have been sanded and patched to their limits, and now need replacing. The old wooden bleachers have out-lasted their lifespan and need to be upgraded to offer safety and accessibility features for all fans. This space has served us well for five decades, and now is the time to build for the next 50 years.
