Program Philosophy
We will respect the game, teammates, opponents, officials, coaches, and ourselves.
We will lead by example, trust the process, and be committed till the end.
We will all put our heads down and do the work necessary to improve and compete.
We will know the journey is not measured in days or weeks, but countless touches, passes, shots, and drills.
Our players will believe in themselves, and in the teams tactics to achieve success.
As coaches, our role is to provide a program to create that belief.
Our coaching staff will give them 110% of ourselves, leading by example to inspire the hard work, commitment, respect, leadership and trust that will be the cornerstones of our program. We believe that the same values and lessons athletes learn on the field can be applied to any challenges in the future, and give our players the necessary tools to be successful in life.

Meet the Coach
Justin-Siena is excited and proud to announce that Steven Giovannoni '89 has been hired as the Varsity Girls Soccer Head Coach. As an alum of the school and 4-year varsity soccer starter when he played for the Braves, Steven brings great passion and experience for the Justin-Siena Soccer program. Steven also played 1 year of college soccer at Santa Rosa Junior College.
Prior to taking the Justin-Siena job, Steven has coached for over 20 years with NYSL, Napa United , and in the Napa Valley Unified School District, coaching both boys and girls ages six to eighteen. He has coached all levels of skill from beginner to competition club, and semi pro athletes. Steven has also spent much of his time doing individual skill development with boys and girls of all ages.
Steven has been self employed in various capacities for 36 years and currently lives in Napa with his wife, fellow JS alum Coleen (Savage) Giovannoni and their son Luca, who is a current sophomore at the school.

Justin-Siena High School
Justin-Siena is a Lasallian Catholic college preparatory community that serves young people in grades 9–12.
