Meet the Coach

Michael Anderson is in his 2nd year as the varsity cross country coach here at Justin-Siena. Anderson coached 1 year of JV cross country before taking over the varsity program 2 years ago. In each of his first 2 seasons as Justin-Siena's varsity coach, Anderson has helped the cross country program qualify for the D4 State Championship. Doing so in 2016 and 2017. Before coming to Justin-Siena Anderson spent 4 years as the cross country coach at Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal, VA.
 
Coach Anderson has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, and his Teaching Credential in Mathematics. He is currently a full-time Mathematics teacher at Justin-Siena.
 
Anderson’s daughter, Reagan, was a 5-time High School All-American distance runner.
