3rd Straight County Win for Justin-Siena Poetry Out Loud Participants
Congratulations to Anais Gonzalez '17 who won Napa County's Poetry Out Loud poetry recitation contest held February 8.
Olivia Boles '19 competed as well, representing a Justin-Siena after winning our on-campus contest. Anais will compete in Sacramento at the State Capital March 12-13, reciting "The Albatross," by Kate Bass and "The Paradox," by Paul Lawrence Dunbar. The State winner will travel, in April, to Washington DC to compete in the National competition. Ms. Laura Kelley-Weakley introduced this program three years ago, and Justin-Siena has produced prize earning competitors each year! Way to go Braves!
