Why Justin-Siena?

Because growth matters.

The mark of a great education is growth over time. Our school is designed to maximize growth. In just one year, the Class of 2018 not only increased their average PSAT scores by 7.9%, they also improved their national percentile ranking by 6.5 points. And the Class of 2019 saw their scores go up by an average of 9.8% and increased their average percentile ranking by 3.14 points!

Because the future matters.

From here, you can go anywhere! Our focus is to help every student earn the college fit that will continue to develop our alums into every bit of the people they were made to be. The average Justin-Siena student applies to eight schools, and this year our students were accepted to 288 different colleges and universities. 41 members of the Class of 2017 will attend top-50 colleges and universities in the fall. Our college counseling approach is personalized to meet the diversity of gifts and talents in our student body.

Because research matters.

The student experience is designed around research on adolescent biology. Our 9:00 am start time syncs naturally with our students’ sleep patterns. And our faculty are trained in the latest in neurobiological research in order to optimize the conditions for both social/emotional and academic growth. • Dare to be Brave

Because making the right choice for high school matters.

Because community matters.

Ask a senior what makes this place so special, the most common responses were “family,” “home,” and “community.” Adolescents cannot grow toward their best selves without the security of a place and people who care. Nothing is more important to us.

Because relationships matter.

The power of mentoring relationships has always been the core of the Brothers’ work. With low class sizes, an advisory program, and small student:counselor ratios, our students are surrounded by a team of adults to guide them toward their best selves.

Because peers matter.

During adolescence, time spent with peers grows exponentially, as does peer influence. Our students are centered, hard-working, and loving. You have to meet them!

Because environment matters.

Our culture expects both an internal drive to use our gifts to the best of our abilities and an altruistic drive to leave this world better than we found it.
We are all heart.
We believe.
We love.
We will.

Because faith matters.

Our community is made up of a diversity of faith traditions. As a Catholic school in the Lasallian tradition, we work to promote an inclusive community where the common good is promoted and the Gospels are a lived experience.

"Be who God meant you to be, and you will set the world on fire." - St. Catherine of Siena

Because class size matters.

All factors being equal, the lower the class size, the higher student academic performance. This policy brief, written by Northwestern University Dr. Diane Whitmore Schanzenbach for the National Education Policy Center, summarizes all research on the importance of class size. We are commited to smaller class sizes for a more personalized, successful student experience.

Because value matters.

We are proud to be a compelling value among Catholic schools in the Bay Area, and we welcome comparisons to independent options with tuitions more than double our rate.
