Summer Information and Schedules

Attention all student athletes!
Girls Basketball- The Varsity and JV Girls Basketball teams will both be active this Summer, starting June 3 and going through July 24. All players will practice together for 2 weeks starting June 10. The Varsity will be playing in 4 tournaments, including the Wine Valley Summer Jam, June 7-9 on the Justin-Siena campus! Another highlight will be the team playing at St. Mary’s College in Moraga June 22-23 and staying in the dorms. The JV team will also go to St. Mary’s as well as play in a Summer League at Justin-Siena on Mondays and Wednesdays in late June and July. The program looks forward to a Summer of growth, both individually and as a team.

Boys Basketball- The Boys Basketball program will be working out 4 days a week from June 10th - July 25th. The varsity team will participate in the Napa Valley College Summer League beginning June 25th and ending July 18th. They will also play in the Sac Area Summer Jam June 29th-30th. The JV team will scrimmage St. Helena High School on June 26th at Justin-Siena and on July 9th at St. Helena. It will be a summer of individual skill development as well as team and program growth.

Baseball- Baseball will be active three days a week all summer focusing on skill and strength work.  In addition, many players will be playing for the Napa Crushers Joe D team and Sonoma Stack travel teams.  Noah Young was just named a North Bay Outstanding player at the Bay Area World Series.

Football- Braves football will have summer practices focused on mastering a multitude of techniques and learning our offensive and defensive schemes. We will also be spending time in the weight room building our strength and conditioning. Lastly, in July we will be taking the varsity team up to the Russian River for our annual Football Retreat.

Softball- Softball summer works will take place every Monday and Thursday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. There will be lightweight training in the fitness center and field workouts every session.

Volleyball- Volleyball plans to hone their volleyball skills, as well as condition, so we can hit the ground running when practice begins. On the court, we'll work passing, serving, defense, blocking, and hitting fundamentals. During conditioning, we'll improve agility, endurance, and flexibility.
