Girls Basketball: Finished with the 12 seed in NCS D-IV qualifying for league and section playoffs for the second straight year with wins over Sonoma, American Canyon, Napa, and a season sweep of Petaluma. Ashlee Whittemore led the team in scoring for the 3rd straight season averaging over 19 points per game, and scored the 1500th point of her career during the season. The Braves 2nd leading scorer was Freshman Isabella Wright, who averaged over 6 points per game, and the 3rd leading scorer was Lexi Rosenbrand, with almost 5 points per game. Also leading the team were Karlie Wells (3.7 ppg, led team with 6.4 RPG), Kiran Monteverdi and Sarah Reynolds who were 2nd and 3rd on the team in 3 point shooting, and Ella Thatcher, Grace Walter, and Mikhaela Cepeda, who all proved valuable on the defensive end of the floor. We are looking forward to contributions next season from strong Freshmen Sarah Reynolds and Alyssa Curtola, both who showed a lot of promise in their first year on Varsity. The program graduates 5 Seniors- Mikhaela Cepeda, Kiran Monteverdi, Ella Thatcher, Grace Walter, and Ashlee Whittemore.
Boys Basketball: The Boys Varsity Basketball team capped off the 2018-19 season with a 54-37 win on Senior night against Vintage. The Braves finished the year 12-14 missing the NCS by 1 game. The senior class consisting of Barrett Donohoe, Kevin Galvin, Landon Mispagel, Dominic Moore, Shane Rosenthal, and Zach Keefer, have laid the foundation for the Braves program. The future looks bright with returners Liam McDevitt 20’, Solomone Anitoni 20’, Tyler Charifa 20’, Zach Johnson 20’, Keith Binz 21’, Jadyn Satten 21’, Wyatt Humphries 21’, and Casey Potrebic 21’ all playing a big role this year.
Wrestling:The Wrestle Brave Community season featured some signature showings in their 2018-2019 campaign. The young team won the Foundation Cup Championship over TCAL Champion Bethel HS-Vallejo and defeated Sf Section Champion Galileo High School 52-21 in San Francisco. Individually Jacob Guiducci won the 122 LB VVAL Championship to qualify for NCS. Freshman Cooper Cohee and Caden Parlett also qualified for NCS! Senior Syohei Harr and Tommy Lopez graduate the program.
