Scholastic Art and Writing Award Winners
Congratulations to our Justin-Siena 2017 Scholastic Art and Writing winners! The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards are the nation’s longest-running and most prestigious recognition program for creative teens in grades 7–12.
Nicole Drawsky won 2 Honorable Mention awards for mixed media works; Our Lady (of Sorrow and Spleen). Owen Benson won Honorable Mention for his photograph Doll Heads. Vincent Fuentes won Honorable Mention for digital artwork the Wall that Divides Us. Alex Kirely won 2 Silver Key Awards for photographs Walking on Jackson, Ocean Views, and 2 Honorable mention awards for Switzerland Shores and North Beach Stroll. And Nils Waterfield won 2 Golden Key awards for photographs Egg and Golden Gate and a Silver Key award for Chipping away.
