Braves Hold Off # 1 Seed Redwood and Advance to MCAL Championship Game
The Braves took down the MCAL's top regular season team, the Redwood Giants 8-6 on Thursday, May 19 at Albert Field in San Rafael.
The Braves jumped on the Giants in the top of the first inning behind a booming double by Cameron Michael that plated two runs. The Braves would never trail in the game.
Sean McElroy had a strong pitching performance as did Sean Presad who came on in relief in the 6th inning.
The Braves move on to Saturday (5/21) night's MCAL Championship and will face the winner of Marin Catholic v Tamalpais.
