Today’s special in the Dining Hall is Penne Pasta and Meat Sauce with Bread and Salad.
 
The season of Lent has traditionally been a time of prolonged penance for the Christian community.In the spirit of the season, the Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation will be available in the CBC Chapel on Monday and Tuesday of this week. Both days, Fr. Pat Stephenson of St. John the Baptist Parish will be available from 9-10 a.m. and Fr. David Jenuwine of St. Apollinaris Parish will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. during the following periods:
  • Monday, April 3: Period 3, Period 2, Break after Period 2, Advisory, and Community Time
  • Tuesday, April 4: Period 4, Period 5, Break after Period 5, Period 6
If you would like to receive the sacrament, please check with your religion teacher.
 
Intramurals Today: Head to Dodd Stadium during Community Time for flag football.
 
New Students for the Christian Living and Leadership & Senior Servant Leadership Classes for next year will meet in Room 213 during Community Time today.
Today’s Sports: The Boys Varsity Golf Team will be dismissed at 9:45 a.m. to play in the St. Vincent Invitational today. The Softball Team plays Redwood at home at 4:30 p.m. Go Braves!
 
Announcing Justin-Siena's 4th annual BRAVE ART SHOW, Bridges and Barriers! Over 300 pieces of art will be on display in the Gasser Center Gallery from April 6-May 5 (closed for the Easter holiday). The Opening Reception will be held Thursday April 8 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Please join your classmates and support their artistic talents while enjoying sweets and treats. The show will feature the work of our visual art students enrolled in Studio Art, Advanced Studio Art, AP Studio Art, and Digital Photography, our 2017 Scholastic Art award winners, as well as artwork from the National Art Honor Society. Don't miss an exciting new interactive instillation, a collaboration with Christian Living and Leadership and Advanced Studio Art. Non-traditional sculpture, photography, digital art, painting and drawing will be just some of the types of artwork on display. 
 
This is the last week to raise funds to support our Twin School in Ethiopia and Bahay Pagasa, the Christian Brothers mission in the Philippines:
 
The Canned Food Drive continues! Each can you bring equals one dollar towards your class total! Class boxes can be found in the Caf on the stage. We CAN do it!
 
Also, don't forget that Coin Wars continues! Be sure to place some coins in your class jar and some paper money in someone else's! Jars can be found in classrooms or on the stage in the Caf.
