Lenten Canned Food Drive: The Lenten Season begins today with Ash Wednesday. Lent is a time of repentance, fasting and preparation for the coming of Easter. It is also a time of self-examination and reflection. It is a period in which we focus on our relationship with God. During Lent, it is a common practice to fast or give up things that distract us from God. One way to grow closer with God is to reach out to the Napa community and lend a helping hand. There are many in our community who do not have access to nutritious meals. To help solve this problem, we are holding a canned food drive. Normally, the canned food drive has taken place around Thanksgiving. However, we believe it is important to help our community throughout the year. The canned food that you donate will be given to the CANV Food Bank. Please bring canned food to school over the next four weeks! Your contribution is greatly appreciated.
