Seniors attending the Disneyland Trip should review the Schoology post containing the Disneyland GradNite Info Sheet. You are responsible for understanding this information so you can participate fully in the GradNite experience. Please be sure to read the Info Sheet.
 
Current freshmen and sophomores are invited to a lunch meeting this Thursday in the College Counseling Center to learn more about college tours during the 2016-17 school year. Explore America, our college tour partner, will be on hand during lunch on Thursday to share information about our annual trip to visit universities in Boston and New York. A potential tour to the Mid-Atlantic – Washington DC, Virginia, and North Carolina – will also be discussed. No sign-up necessary. Please arrive by 11:30 a.m.
 
The Leadership Commissioning Liturgy for the Class of 2017, formerly known as the Junior Unity Ceremony, will be this Thursday, May 19 during PM flex in Siena Hall. The Junior Class is rising to a position of leadership as our Seniors depart!  Faculty and Staff are invited to join them and their families in recognition of their role as leaders on our campus and in celebration of the many gifts they bring as a class. Attention to all freshmen students who are currently registered for sophomore Pre-AP Language and Literature class next semester. There will be an informational meeting held this Thursday in Room 416. The meeting will open at the start of our Thursday PM Flex Period and will last no longer than fifteen minutes. The general topic of discussion will be the nature of the Pre-AP English program plus Mr. McDermott will distribute instructions for the course’s mandatory summer reading assignment. If Pre-AP English is part of your sophomore plan, then plan to be in Room 416 at the start of this Thursday’s Flex.
 
Are you interested in going to one of the 7,107 islands of the Philippines next spring break? Are you interested in being immersed in Filipino culture and opportunities to serve the poor in the Philippines?  Are you an incoming senior? If your answer to all three questions is yes, then come to the Venaver Philippines orientation meeting on Friday, May 20, in room 213, during lunch break, and bring you own lunch.  For questions, contact Mr. Rebullida or Mrs. Neidhoefer.
 
Attention student-athletes! Justin will be doing their annual Sports physical day this Saturday, May 21 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. with a charge of $20 per athlete. Make sure to bring your sportsware history form, insurance card, and to wear athletic clothing.
 
The Arts Awards, An Evening in Black and White, is this Saturday!  Don't miss this celebration of the Arts at Justin-Siena, this Saturday night at 6:00 p.m.   Dress in festive black and white attire, and join us for dinner, awards, performances and celebration!  Tickets are available on the Justin-Siena website, and include dinner. No tickets will be available at the door. This event sold out last year, so get your tickets now!
