Service-Minded Braves Step Up to Assist in Valley Fire Relief Efforts

With our shared Lasallian mission, we can always count on our community of Braves to lend a hand and offer support in times of need. The neighboring Valley Fire has insprired nothing less.
A prayer service was held Monday in the Gasser Center before lunch to offer prayers of support for Valley Fire victims and for the firefighters and all those lending a hand in the relief efforts. LSL will continue organizing donation efforts this week.

Ms. Neidhoffer shared with the community Monday evening, "I just brought up a van full of tents (10!) and sleeping bags, pillows and blankets, stuffed animals for kids to snuggle tonight, baby supplies and toiletries. It was so appreciated. One person got teary and said, 'God bless you people. We need this right me, tonight.' Needed most: sleeping bags, tents, tarps, rain gear, flashlights, lanterns, batteries, clocks, umbrellas. I am so proud of our school community! Thank you for your efforts so far. Keep your prayers and donations coming."

Thank you to all who've responded. Our community of Braves is incredible and such a testament to our mission "to serve and to lead in an ever-changing world."

We will continue to update the list of requests and needs via our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/justin-siena.
