The 2018 Auction

ACCESS 707 features some of the most sought-after and hard-to-get wines from our Sonoma and Napa Valleys. Bid online for just 4 days only from November 8, 2018 at 7:07 pm (PST) through November 12, 2018 at 7:07 pm.

Because of Justin-Siena’s unique ties to the wine capital of the world, bidders have exclusive ACCESS to the area’s most sought-after wine. This auction, unlike other local philanthropic wine auctions such as Auction Napa Valley and the Sonoma Harvest Wine Auction, is online and anyone from anywhere can participate. Proceeds from ACCESS 707 help provide ACCESS to education by funding tuition assistance initiatives at Justin-Siena High School which was founded by the De La Salle Christian Brothers and Dominican Sisters of San Rafael in 1966 and is located on Highway 29 in the City of Napa.

Wineries and private collectors alike have generously opened their cellars to provide our bidders ACCESS to some rarely (or not again) available wines. Beautiful boxed sets, large formats, vertical collections, and signed bottles featuring vintages from wineries such as Barnett Vineyards, Boeschen Vineyards, Brother Timothy, Chappellet, Colgin, Domaine Curry, Groth, Harlan Estate, Heitz, Inglenook, JACK Winery, Joseph Phelps, Lede Family Wines, Michael Mondavi, Miracle Hill, Miner Family Winery, Paradigm, Pride, Reynolds Family Winery, Salvestrin Winery, Schramsberg, Stags Leap Wine Cellars, and Tom Eddy Winery . . . just to name a few.

This auction opportunity comes well-timed ahead of your holiday planning. Stock your cellar for holiday entertaining and gifting with the best, while helping students at Justin-Siena.

Christian Brothers Wine Connections Run Deep

Our proud heritage as a Lasallian school in the heart of Napa founded by the De La Salle Christian Brothers and Dominican Sisters of San Rafael began when the first bell rang in 1966 but runs much deeper.

The De La Salle Christian Brothers have a storied history in the Napa Valley as pioneering wine makers for the sake of education. With origins in 17th century France and an educational mission spanning the globe, the religious teaching order of the De La Salle Christian Brothers began making wine, and later brandy, in 1879 as an innovative way to augment funding for their burgeoning world-wide educational ministries and stake a proud claim in the Californian wine renaissance.

The Brothers expanded their operations from Martinez to Napa in 1930, building Mont La Salle on Mt. Veeder. Even through Prohibition, they enjoyed uninterrupted wine production, as they produced sacramental wine; then expanded further to occupy Greystone Cellars in St. Helena (now home to the Culinary Institute of America) where their brand of quality continued to gain market share before selling to Heublein Fine Wine Group in 1989.
Br. Timothy Diener, a chemistry teacher-turned-winemaker, was a renowned vintner and cellar master and a pioneer in shaping the legendary Napa Valley wine industry for the better part of the 20th century. Perhaps you’ve visited Greystone and seen his legendary corkscrew collection on display.

For five decades Justin-Siena has played a vital role in shaping the Valley by providing a college preparatory education that prepares young people to serve and to lead in an ever-changing world. Generations of wine industry professionals from grape growers to tasting room proprietors from Napa, Sonoma, and beyond make up the fabric of Justin-Siena. ACCESS 707 is an exclusive collection of wines from wineries directly or from the private collections of those in our community. All proceeds benefit the students of Justin-Siena.
