Braves in College Athletics
There are 29 Braves currently continuing their athletics career at the college level.
Marcus Armstrong-Brown ’13 | University of Hawaii, Football
Armstrong-Brown is currently in the middle of his senior season playing wide receiver for the Rainbow Warriors. So far this season, Marcus has 28 catches for 293 yards and a touchdown.
Marc Castellucci ’13 | Montevello University (Alabama), Baseball
Primary catcher for a Falcons team that finished in the south regionals and earned a #20 national ranking. For the season he hit .277 with 4 home runs and will be returning to JS as a coach having now graduated with his degree in business management.
Tyler Whitehead ’13 | Napa Valley College, Baseball
After pitching primarily as a freshman at NVC, Whitehead moved to the outfield for his sophomore campaign and posted a .393 on base percentage for the Storm in 25 games.
Nathan Krill ’14 | University of San Francisco, Basketball
Krill is a graduate transfer who will play 1 year for the Dons, after playing 3 years for Wesleyan. In his senior season at Wesleyan, Krill was a starter and averaged 12.2 points per game.
Naufahu Anitoni ’15 | St. John’s University (Minnesota), Football
Anitoni is a senior for the Johnnies and is the team’s punter, averaging 36.4 yards per punt.
Sasha French ’15 | University at Albany, State University of New York, Basketball
French is beginning his first season for the Great Danes as a redshirt Sophomore.
Morgan Malloy ’15 | Saint Mary’s College, Basketball
Malloy just began practicing for her junior year of eligibility (she is a senior academically) on the Gaels Women’s Basketball team. Morgan walked on as a sophomore and earned a scholarship for the past 2 seasons.
Brendan Natuzzi ’15 | Willamette University, Baseball
As a junior Natuzzi was the starting third baseman and a regular reliever for the Bearcat team that was a win away from the D3 World Series. He batted .280 and had an ERA of 2.93 in his two-way duty.
Kathleen Scavo ’15 | University of Oregon, Golf
Scavo is currently competing in her senior season for the Ducks. She recently finished 8th in a tournament and is one of the leaders of the team. As a junior she was a member of the Pac-12 All Academic team.
Maria Davis ’16 | Long Beach State University, Golf
Davis is currently competing in the fall season of her Junior year. In two tournaments this year she has finished 40th and 28th for the 49ers.
Nik Dodson ‘16 | Solano Community College, Baseball
After redshirting his first year, Dodson made the team as a utility infielder for the Falcons. He posted 69 AB’s for the typically strong Solano squad.
Jordan Dunkley ’16 | Canada College (Redwood City), Baseball
Pitching out of the bullpen Dunkley posted an ERA of 2.41 in 18.66 IP in his freshman season.
Lindsey Krill ’16 | Pomona College, Basketball
Krill will be participating on the basketball team for the Sagehens this upcoming season. She previously helped out at Brown University in the basketball program and also played Rugby at Brown.
Colton Peterson ’16 | Sacramento City College, Baseball
Earned the starting the second baseman job down the stretch for a Sac City squad that was a win away from being crowned state champions.
Dominique Shelton ’16 | Mississippi Valley State, Football
Shelton is in his junior season playing defensive back and has 20 tackles on the season while leading the team in pass breakups with 7.
Dante De Los Santos ’17 | University of California Santa Cruz, Cross Country
De Los Santos is in his sophomore season running both Cross Country and Track for the Banana Slugs.
Max Hautala ’17 | Boise State University, Lacrosse
Nate Kaufmann ’17 | Napa Valley College,Baseball
Hautala played in 6 games as a freshman and recorded 2 goals and an assist. The Broncos are currently training for the upcoming season.
Kaufmann made 12 appearances and 5 starts for Napa finishing the season in the team’s starting rotation as a true freshman.
Ariel Kivela ’17 | Pitzer College, Cross Country
Kivela is in the midst of her sophomore season for the Sagehens and ran a 5k time of 19:48 at the UC Riverside Invite in September.
Isabella Leonardi ’17 | University of Redlands, Lacrosse
Leonardi is in her sophomore year at University of Redlands preparing for the upcoming season. In her freshman season, Bella scored 6 goals and added an assist for the Bulldogs.
Aidan Willard ’17 | Oregon State University, Football
Willard is currently a redshirt Freshman for the Beavers. He saw his first regular season game action recently in a game against Arizona State.
Jacob Andrews-Pestana ’18 | Norwich University, Lacrosse
Andrews-Pestana is currently training for the upcoming season. He is one of 11 freshmen recruited to the team for the upcoming season.

Ron Caretti Jr. ’18 | Santa Barbara City College, Football
Caretti is participating in his Freshman season playing defensive back for the Vaqueros. He led the team in tackles in his first game and continues to be the main contributor on defense for his team.
Hannah Chau ’18 | University of California Irvine, Cross Country
Chau has been the top finisher for her team in all but 1 race this season, including a 14th place finish in the 21-team UC Riverside meet in September. There were well over 100 participants in the race. A great start for the Freshman to her college career!
Elizabeth Hansen ’18 | University of California San Diego, Water Polo
Hansen and her teammates are currently training for the upcoming season in the spring as she transitions to college after a stellar career for the Braves that included a 2017 MCAL regular season championship.
Kendall Martin ’18 | University of California Santa Barbara, Track and Field
Martin will be joining the Gauchos as a Javelin thrower. Martin had a great track and field career at Justin-Siena as well as a six-time USA Track & Field Pacific Association champion in the javelin and a five-time Junior Olympic qualifier.
Rebecca Reynolds ’18 | University of California Davis, Water Polo
Reynolds is currently preparing for her freshman year on the UC Davis Water Polo team after a stellar career at Justin-Siena that included a 2017 MCAL regular season championship.
Asher Sutter ’18 | Santa Rosa Junior College, Baseball
After wrapping up an all-MCAL and all-NCS senior season for Justin-Siena, Sutter is now at Santa Rosa where he projects to play in the middle infield for the perennial junior college power.
Lisa Taylor ’18 | Fort Lewis College, Lacrosse
Taylor is currently in her freshman year at Fort Lewis preparing for the spring season of Lacrosse. Taylor was a standout for the Braves varsity team and is excited to continue her career in college.
