Tuition Assistance Information

Central to the mission of the De La Salle Christian Brothers is to provide a human and Christian education to the young, and to make it accessible for the poor. Saint John Baptist de La Salle, founder of the De La Salle Christian Brothers, was a visionary in the world of education. In an effort to remain consistent with our Lasallian mission, Justin-Siena High School is dedicated to providing students with the education and access that they deserve.

In keeping with this commitment, Justin-Siena extends tuition assistance to capable students, especially those with financial need, desiring a Catholic, Lasallian education.

Justin-Siena’s tuition assistance program requires strong partnership between the school, parents, and students. Parents commit to paying tuition at a level that the school determines to be affordable, and students commit to utilizing school programs to help them reach their fullest potential.

In 2010-2011, Justin-Siena awarded over a $1,000,000 in tuition assistance to our families. Need based awards covered anywhere from 5% of tuition costs to 100% of tuition costs. The average award was over $6,475. Awards for the 2011-2012 school year look to exceed that!

In addition to providing need based financial assistance for families of ordinary or modest means, Justin-Siena is committed to enrolling 5% of its student body whose families are at or below the federal poverty level. For a family of four this year that income level is $40,793. The school works diligently with those families towards providing a near tuition free education. This effort is made possible thanks to the funding provided from the Lasallian Educational Fund of the De La Salle Christian Brothers, individual donors and various foundations.
