Scholarships & Endowments

Shouldn't every student's future be just as bright?   It can be with an affordable Justin-Siena education for every qualified student regardless of their financial status.  Tuition affordability is an issue that affects so many families, including those of alumni. Your donations to the Foundation help ensure that we can continue to provide tuition assistance and scholarships whenever needed, maintain a vibrant and diverse student population, and enrich the learning environment at Justin-Siena.

Scholarships

A perpetual scholarship may be established to memorialize a loved one who may have had a special relationship with Justin-Siena.  A minimum contribution of $10,000 is required to establish an endowed scholarship. 

These funds are permanently maintained in the Foundation's Endowment Fund and scholarship awards are based on the annual earnings derived from the donated funds.  The donor may establish the criteria for selection of the scholarship recipient and will be advised of the recipient(s) chosen by the Scholarship Committee.

Program Endowments

A donor with an interest in funding a particular project or program can create a restricted endowment with a minimum contribution of $10,000.  These funds are permanently maintained in the Foundation's Endowment Fund and awards are based on the annual earnings. Donors are provided with an annual accounting of the endowed funds and always have the opportunity to make additional contributions in the future. 

A few of the available endowed funds that the Foundation offers are:

"Program Endowment - A gift to a particular program within the school that helps secure its future, e.g. the theater program or the environmental science program

"Endowment for a Faculty Chair - A gift that underwrites the cost of academic faculty

"Technology Upgrade Endowment - A gift to support improvements to update and upgrade technology

"Excellence in Teaching Endowment - A gift to support the professional development of faculty
