A LETTER FROM MR. MORRISH
At Bob Morrish’s memorial service it was only fitting that his own last words would be read by his dear friend, Mike Clark. This statement was meant to be shared by the entire Justin-Siena community:
To all my friends,
This is not a final farewell, because I have the faith and the hope that we will all meet again in heaven, but these are my last words to you on this earth.
My religious philosophy can be summed up in the words of the Gospel I selected for this service: “Love One Another as I have Loved You,” and I tried my best to accomplish that.
If I was successful in this life, it is because of you. You helped make me what I am and it grew over the years. A relationship is not a one-way street. If I touched your life positively in some way, in whatever area, no matter how large or how small, then my life can be said to have had meaning, hopefully in the way God planned it.
So just as each one of you made up a part of me, I too believe that a little bit of me has gone into making up a part of you, --- it may be social, intellectual, theatrical, or whatever, -- but the part of you where I would like to remain the most is in your smile. If you ever think of me, remember happy things, and I won’t be gone from you --- I hope to be with you always as something in your smile. God bless and love you all.
