Best Dressed Class – Total from everyday tally 1^st place = 200 points 2^nd place =150 points 3^rd place = 100 points 4^th place = 50 points 3. Class T-shirt Day-- Thursday 1^st place = 300 points 2^nd place = 200 points 3^rd place = 100 points 4^th place = 50 points The dress days are as follows: Monday: Superheroes & Villains Tuesday: High school Stereotypes Wednesday: Pajama Day Thursday: Class T-Shirt Day Friday: School Colors (wear team jerseys or dress in Red & Blue) The best dressed individual will be judged on creativity and originality. Class dress day will be judged on class unity and the number of students in each class dressed for the day* The Class Competitions will be as follows: Monday: Costume Contest Tuesday: Brain vs. Brawn Wednesday: Karaoke Contest Thursday: Tug-O-War Friday: Food Eating Contest/Money Guess Class Competition Points Each daily event 1^st place = 150 points 2^nd place = 100 points 3^rd place = 75 points 4^th place = 50 points Rally Points 1. Spirit/Participation Overall -- 1^st place = 400 points 2^nd place = 300 points 3^rd place = 200 points 4^th place = 100 points 2. Decorations -- 1^st place = 500 points 2^nd place = 400 points 3^rd place = 300 points 4^th place = 200 points 3. Class Skit -- 1^st place = 500 points 2^nd place = 400 points 3^rd place = 300 points 4^th place = 200 points 4. Cheer Events (x4) -- 1^st place = 50 points Skits will be judged on class participation, preparation, entertainment, originality and quality. Any skit that does not conform with all the rules may risk disqualification ANY CLASS FAILING TO COMPLETE CLEAN UP THEIR AREA AND PROVIDE ASSISTANCE FOR GENERAL CLEAN-UP WILL BE SUBJECT TO LOSS OF POINTS. The classes will be judged on their spirit, unity and participation. Floats* 1. Originality and Creativity 1^st place = 150 points 2^nd place = 100 points 3^rd place = 75 points 4^th place = 50 points 2. How well the theme is followed 1^st place = 150 points 2^nd place = 100 points 3^rd place = 75 points 4^th place = 50 points 3. Overall Appearance 1^st place = 200 points 2^nd place = 150 points 3^rd place = 100 points 4^th place = 50 points Class T-Shirt Competition 1^st place = 500 points 2^nd place = 400 points 3^rd place = 300 points 4^th place = 200 points * T-shits will be judged on design, creativity how well it follows the class theme and its overall effectiveness* Mines to Vines Service Element Each class is expected to raise at least 300 dollars. For this reason the class that raises the most money, above 300 dollars, will receive 300 spirit points. If the classes do not raise this much money, they will be given one point for each dollar earned. Each class council will be responsible for coming up with the means of collection; cans, boxes, etc. We urge you to be creative as points will be awarded on this basis. The councils will also be responsible for gathering and counting the money daily. In addition, on Friday a contest will be held to see who can guess closest how much money has been raised by the entire school. 1. Closest Guess 1^st place = 50 points 2^nd place = 40 points 3^rd place = 30 points The judging panel will be composed of several faculty members who will be monitoring each class throughout the week.
