Justin-Siena Girls Basketball Advance To Section Hoop Semis
The sixth-seeded Justin-Siena girls basketball team upset No. 3 seed Piedmont, 66-56, in the CIF North Coast Section Div. IV playoff quarterfinals on Saturday night. The Braves (25-5) will visit No. 2 seed St. Mary’s-Albany (24-7) at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the semifinals.
KVON (1440 am) will be broadcasting the North Coast Section girls semi-final basketball game from St Mary's High School on Wednesday. Air-time will be at 6:30 pm. The broadcast will also be streamed on kvon.com.

Varsity Boys Wrestling: Justin-Siena Pair Compete At NCS Meet
It was a fabulous first day and a tough Saturday for Justin-Siena 115-pound wrestler Jacob Gardiner at the CIF North Coast Section Championships.
The junior won all three of his matches on Friday to get to Saturday’s semifinals at Newark Memorial High in San Jose, where the top three finishers in each weight class qualified for the state meet.
Gardiner lost in the semis, but won his next match to earn a spot in the third-place match. But for the second year in a row, he lost that match by one point and finished fourth.
Junior teammate Jack England (134) “wrestled extremely well” in his first-ever section meet, going 2-2. Read the Full Article

2013-2014 Sports Registration and Physical Information
During the registration process you were asked if you were interested in participating in sports at Justin-Siena. If you clicked “Yes”, then you were prompted through a series of questions that indicated to us the sports you were interested in, as well as your acknowledgements of our Athletic Department Policies. We use this information in our rosters and mailing lists, so if you are unsure if you entered in the correct information, please contact Debbie Skillings. Also, if you clicked “No” and now have changed your mind and want to participate, please contact Debbie Skillings and she will get you the correct forms and information so you can participate.
Physicals: According to CIF regulations, every High School sports participant must have an updated Athletic Physical on file each calendar year. CLICK HERE to download our Athletic Physical Form. This needs to be completed by your physician and turned into the Athletics Department before August 6, 2013. Athletic Physicals are only valid if completed by a licensed physician (preferred), physician assistant, or nurse practitioner.
