French Students Visit the Greats at the Legion of Honor

A field trip to the Legion of Honor in San Francisco took Justin-Siena students, teachers, and chaperones, back to the days of our Founder, St. John Baptist De La Salle.
Some eighty Justin-Siena students received a French, Religion, and Art lesson a couple weeks ago when all the French classes headed to the Legion of Honor Art Museum in San Francisco. The exhibit was The Brothers Le Nain: Painters of 17th Century France. The students were very focused and worked hard on their information sheets. They admired beautiful pieces painted by the Brothers and then escaped to the museum's first floor to take in some Rodin sculptures and Monet, Renoir, and Seurat paintings. The excursion ended at Crissy Field with a delicious French picnic lunch by the beach.
