Meet the 2016 Homecoming Court

The Homecoming Court is made up of seniors selected by the faculty and their classmates for being leaders among their peers and examples of what a well-formed Justin Siena senior is in our community.
From this Royal Court, a Homecoming Queen and King is selected who is someone of good character, participates enthusiastically in school life, strives for academic excellence, serves the school community, and creatively engages challenges and opportunities on a daily basis. Come to the Homecoming Game Friday night to find our who will be our reigning King and Queen for the 2016-17 school year!

Tyler Bertani

Who is that girl that won't stop singing? It's Tyler Bertani! Tyler Bertani transferred to Justin-Siena her sophomore year, and since then has made her mark on our campus as a performer and a leader. She is extremely involved in the theatre and has played challenging roles in shows such as Asaka, the mother of the Earth, and Ms. Pennywise, keeper of the bathroom stalls, to name just a couple. Tyler plans to major in musical theater in college. Raised in a Lutheran community, where her father was the pastor, Tyler is very involved in church life and goes to Tijuana, Mexico every summer to build houses for those in need as an expression of her faith. Tyler is charismatic, funny, loving, and boy can she sing! Now, on with the show!

Alyssa Bonfigli
Alyssa Bonfigli has participated in eleven theatre productions and has been a part of the International Thespian Society since her freshman year. Alyssa has been a Class Commissioner for three years and is a second year Student Ambassador. She is a four-year member of the California Scholarship Federation, and is a recipient of the Outstanding Academics Award for Advanced Theatre. Alyssa drives a yellow Volkswagen Bug named Benny that is often parked poorly in senior lot. Service has played a constant role in Alyssa's life, including working at an orphanage in Tijuana the past three summers and giving food and clothing to the homeless in San Francisco every Christmas and Thanksgiving. After graduation, Alyssa plans to attend a four-year university and eventually join the Peace Corps.

Abigail Craig
If you’re looking for Abigail on campus, odds are you’ll find her in Room 213 holding a Spirit Club meeting, picnicking on Senior Lawn with friends, or yelling “ALL HEART” in the hallways. From receiving varsity letters in both tennis and ComedySportz to giving one-of-a-kind tours of campus as a Student Ambassador, Abigail’s love for Justin-Siena is apparent in all the ways she is involved, including her service as a Kairos retreat leader. Outside of school, Abigail gets her adventure fix by volunteering at Challenge Sonoma Adventure Ropes Course and through Sonoma Valley Venturing Crew 16, a program geared to helping teen girls get outside of their comfort zones and grow as leaders, which Abigail founded and now runs. She plans on double majoring in anthropology and journalism in college.

Jill Del Arroyo
Jill Del Arroyo: all 4'10 inches of compassion, determination, smiles and laughs. A Justin-Siena cheerleader since her sophomore year, Jill started out as the JV co-captain and then moved up to varsity, loving every minute of it. Jill has been a part of a ComedySportz team, A Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, Justin-Siena's 24 Hour Play Project, among other theatrical pursuits. When Jill isn't being thrown several feet high to promote Justin-Siena school spirit, working hard in the classroom, transforming into a character on stage, or laughing with friends, she daydreams about a better world, exploring serious justice issues that affect our communities. When Jill can find a little time to herself she enjoys creative writing and is an avid doodler. After JS, Jill plans to attend a four-year university and study communications and marketing.

Grace Haymond
Although frequently the opposite of graceful, “amazing” Grace gives everything her all and embodies what it means to be All Heart. Grace is passionate about service, videography, spreading positivity, and empowering others with creativity. Throughout her years at Justin-Siena she has been involved in many different areas, as a Student Ambassador, a member of Spirit Club, playing lacrosse and volleyball (winning "Most Spirited"), founding Film Club, co-founding DoSomething Club, as National Art Honors Society and National Honors Society member, a Kairos retreat leader, and junior class Loyalty Award winner. She strives to make a positive impact on everyone's life.

Avery Johnson
Avery Johnson has been performing since the age of 11, and has been involved in at least 10 Justin-Siena productions including ComedySportz, the spring musicals, and the dance shows each year. She was recently nominated for an Arty Award as best supporting actress for her last role in Once on This Island. In her free time Avery enjoys reading and jumping on trampolines with her two best friends. She also has a job at a train museum in Suisun where she has worked since her sophomore year. Avery hopes to study anthropology in college along with art, and travel the world to meet many unique and different people.

Maggie Prittie
Maggie Prittie has been an active part of student life at Justin-Siena since her freshman year. A cheerleader all four years, Maggie is dedicated to raising school spirit. In addition to being on the honor roll since her freshman year, Maggie has served as a Student Ambassador for two years and is currently a Senior Servant Leader. She is a four-year participant of the California Scholarship Federation and was selected to be a member of the National Honors Society her junior year. Maggie participated in VENAVER Montana at the Blackfeet Indian Reservation last spring and volunteers at the Napa County Animal Shelter. In her limited free time she fosters kittens and has a “sweet” job at a local cupcake shop. Maggie plans to attend a four-year university in California so that she can visit her cats (and family) as much as possible.

Neha Sidhu
Neha Sidhu is a proud older sister, loyal friend, and passionate representative of all things Indian. Currently Student Body President with Joseph Celaya, she has served on class council since her junior year. A varsity tennis athlete for three years, she also leads the Friday Night Live club on campus, is a Student Ambassador and has been an honors student all four years of high school. Neha has been on the Mock Trial team since her freshman year, serving as a captain and an attorney while going to the State finals for three consecutive seasons. Outside of the classroom, she has spent a summer researching neurodegenerative diseases in a lab, interns at the March of Dimes in San Francisco, and shadows physicians at local hospitals. After high school, she hopes to study neuroscience in college on a path to become a doctor.

Mac Armstrong-Brown
Mac Armstrong-Brown has contributed greatly to Justin-Siena, through both sports and academics. He broke the diving school record his freshman year, and was named diving MVP the following year. Mac has a strong belief that people should always be themselves regardless of what others think, and that they should forge their own paths. This mentality paired with a desire for self-expression, led Mac to become one of the first male cheerleaders at Justin-Siena. Additionally, Mac has been elected onto class council for the past four years, he has won his class Spirit Award for the past three years, and he is heavily involved with LSL, leading retreats, as well as being a student ambassador. He is a three-year ComedySportz act-lete and is fluent in Spanish.

Demetri Bouzos
Demetri Bouzos is an extremely active member of the JS community. You may hear him referred to as “the curly haired kid,” “that guy that does theatre,” or, most importantly, “the Greekest kid on campus.” A vigorous participator in both school and Greek life, Demetri is a youth leader at his church and in two Greek folk dancing groups. He’s got the soul and the moves to motivate you to be a better Greek, and therefore a better person. Demetri, a.k.a. “Yung Oliv,” is all over campus, as a Lasallian Student Leader, an active club member, a CSF scholar, a Student Ambassador, and as an actor in every theater production at Justin-Siena since freshman year (a ComedySportz captain too!). Demetri has maintained a 4.5+ GPA through it all, and wouldn’t change a thing.

Joseph Celaya
Joseph Celaya is a dapper young man who you would most often find on the soccer field or with his nose in a textbook. He’s played on the soccer team and maintained one of the highest GPAs on campus since his freshman year. When he's not studying or playing sports, and even when he is, you'll likely hear him singing Taylor Swift, which was much easier for him as a freshman. He has sung in the Advanced Choir since ninth grade, currently serving as an Instructional Leader. Joseph finds much fulfillment in his service as a leader on campus. He has been on the class council all four years, received the leadership award last year, and is currently Student Body President with Neha Sidhu. Above all, Joseph is a family man. He loves his mom, dad, and siblings more than anything in the world.

Dan Clark
Dan Clark has got everything it takes to be a Brave! If you’re looking for Dan, you'll find him on the football field catching the winning touch down or in LSL making plans for the Change for Our World campaign. Dan's a five-star man – if you want a top-notch meal of cereal and milk or someone to kill a spider, then Dan has your back. Having played on the varsity football team for three years, helping lead the team to a championship, as well as being apart of LSL since sophomore year, Dan is a true servant leader and athlete. In addition to an all-star sense of humor, did we mention he's All Heart, all the time? There is no finer or more exemplary Brave than Dan Clark.

Mitchell Martin
Mitchell enjoys being a student-athlete at Justin-Siena. In the classroom, he has been an honor roll student, a CSF member, and a recipient of the Academic Honor for physics. As a three-year varsity track and field athlete, he earned an MVP and Coach Award for his commitment and contribution to the Braves’ track team. He is proud of being on the football team all four years, starting on both offense and defense, and also played freshman basketball as a team captain. As a six year Napa Track Club team member, he has competed in the javelin at the Junior Olympics, and was a “top 8” medal winner in that event at the 2015 Youth National Championships in Chicago. He also volunteers his time with young athletes at track and field meets. Mitchell values his family and friends, sharing his “off-season” time water skiing, snowboarding and playing beach volleyball.

Jake Prittie
What Jake lacks in athletic ability he more than makes up for in all of his other endeavors. He is no stranger to leadership as proven by his membership in the California Scholarship foundation, Justin-Siena Student Ambassadors, Senior Class Council, chair of Jam Club, and as the stage manager for theatre productions. Jake loves music more than most things in life and has been playing piano for almost 10 years. He currently teaches piano at his former elementary school and loves sharing his passion with everyone. When not playing piano he can be found restoring his 1966 mustang and spending time with his super cool pals. Jake plans to study mechanical engineering at a school somewhere near the coast and hopes to work in the automotive industry.

Connor Wesson
Connor is an avid water sport athlete, he was a member of the JSHS swim team for both his freshman and sophomore year, and he has played water polo for two club teams and Justin-Siena for the past four years. He has been a Lasallian Student Leader for the past three years and has learned a lot about what makes a true leader (“how can I help?”). Connor was also an integral member of the student team who developed the ALL HEART identity, and he continues to support all who strive to be ALL HEART. In his free time, Connor travels the world. Connor hopes to study Marine Biology at a four-year university after he graduates from Justin-Siena.

Jacob Wright
Jacob will be the fifth of six children to attend and graduate from Justin-Siena. As a Justin-Siena third baseman, Jake has played baseball all 4 years, was JV captain his sophomore year, and was voted Most Improved Player on varsity last season. He's very active in student leadership and he is one of only two people who has served in LSL for three years running; he was the force behind a famously awesome Homecoming Haunted House his sophomore year. As Spirit Club President, along with Abigail and Megan, he leads the student section at games and he is currently on the Executive Board. This past summer Jacob had the unique opportunity of attending the TASIS Summer program in Switzerland, where he took an Italian cooking course and met people from all over the world. He hopes to attend University of Oregon and study business with an emphasis in sports management. Jake Wright is unarguably the most spirited guy on campus, and possibly the nicest.
