Braves Launch Robotics Team

The team will participate in the annual FIRST Tech Challenge, a robotics competition with students from around the world that is aimed at teaching students STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). The regular season and State/Regional Championships begin in late fall this year. As a rookie team, the students on the team will learn what it takes to build, program, and test a competition-worthy robot. In addition to the FIRST Tech Challenge, they will also host the FIRST Lego League tournament this year, on Saturday, November 14.
